Rated at 3 tons of nominal cooling capacity (36,000 BTU/h), this unit operates on R-32 refrigerant and achieves a 13.4 SEER2 efficiency rating. It uses a scroll compressor with single-speed fan and motor, and discharges air from the top. The unit runs on 208/230-volt, single-phase, 60 Hz power and carries a minimum circuit ampacity of 17.5 amps with a maximum overcurrent protection of 30 amps. Licensed HVAC contractors install this unit as the outdoor half of a split cooling system paired with a compatible indoor air handler or coil.
The alxs3nn3610 is approved for installation in DOE North region climates only and is not approved for use in Southeast or Southwest regional compliance zones. It is suited for residential single-family, multi-family, and light commercial applications where a non-communicating, single-stage cooling solution is required.
