Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling regulations. Disconnect and lock out all power to the system before connecting or servicing refrigerant lines, electrical connections, or the unit itself. Minimum circuit ampacity is 10.9 amps with a maximum overcurrent protection of 15 amps; verify that the service disconnect and wiring are sized accordingly. Liquid line connection is 3/8 inch O.D. and suction line connection is 3/4 inch O.D.; use proper flaring or brazing procedures and pressure-test the line set before charging.
