The GOODMAN acr118x20 is a hard-drawn ACR copper tube designed for refrigerant line-set fabrication and HVAC system piping. At 1-1/8 inches in outside diameter and 20 feet in length, this tubing provides the rigid structure needed for suction and liquid line runs in air conditioning and refrigeration installations. Hard-drawn copper holds its shape without additional supports over moderate spans, making it a practical choice when straight runs or minimal bends are required. Licensed HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers of ACR-grade copper tube of this size.
This tubing is suited for commercial and residential refrigeration and air conditioning applications where hard-temper copper is specified. The 1-1/8 inch outside diameter is a common suction-line size for mid-to-large capacity split systems and package units. It is typically cut to length in the field, deburred, and brazed at fittings and coil connections. ACR designation indicates the tubing is cleaned, dehydrated, and capped at the mill, keeping the interior free of contaminants prior to installation.
Designed as an OEM-style ACR hard copper tube for use in residential and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning refrigerant piping systems requiring 1-1/8 inch outside diameter hard-drawn copper tubing.
Installation of ACR copper tubing in refrigerant systems must be performed by EPA Section 608 certified HVAC technicians. Recover all refrigerant and isolate the system before cutting or disconnecting existing lines. Use a tube cutter sized for the diameter, deburr all cut ends thoroughly, and braze connections with a nitrogen purge to prevent oxidation scale inside the line. Hard-drawn tubing requires tube benders or formed fittings for directional changes — do not attempt sharp bends by hand, as the material will kink.
