The GLASFLOSS ZLP14241 is a MERV 10 pleated air filter measuring 14 inches wide by 24 inches tall by 1 inch deep. It uses 100% synthetic fiber extended-surface media arranged in a tapered radial pleat configuration, delivering 3.96 square feet of media area at a rated face velocity of 300 FPM. Initial resistance is 0.21 inches WC with a final resistance of 1 inch WC. The one-piece die-cut frame is constructed from heavy-duty moisture-resistant beverage board incorporating post-consumer recycled material. Galvanized expanded metal backing is laminated to the air-exit side of the media using a thermosetting adhesive to maintain pleat continuity and resist rust and corrosion. Licensed HVAC technicians and maintenance professionals install this filter in forced-air systems requiring reliable particulate capture.
The ZLP14241 is suited for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC applications as well as geothermal unit installations. The MERV 10 rating makes it effective for capturing dust, pollen, mold spores, and fine particulate, offering a balance of filtration efficiency and airflow performance. Its moisture-resistant frame construction supports use in environments where humidity or condensation may be a factor, such as geothermal units or systems located in unconditioned mechanical spaces. The filter ships as a single unit ready for drop-in installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement pleated filter for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems and geothermal units requiring a 14 inch by 24 inch by 1 inch filter with MERV 10 performance.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or trained maintenance professional. Always shut down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect before removing or installing the filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of air travel through the system before securing the access panel. Follow applicable local mechanical codes and manufacturer service intervals for filter replacement.
