The GLASFLOSS GDS_25X25X1 is a disposable fiberglass panel air filter designed for use in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC air-handling systems. Measuring 25 inches x 25 inches x 1 inch with an effective media area of 4.34 square feet, this filter operates at a rated airflow of 300 FPM. Initial resistance is 0.09 inches WC, with a final resistance of 0.5 inches WC. The one-piece craft-board frame uses a thermally bonded, double-strut construction that delivers durability and consistent performance across a wide range of filtration applications. HVAC technicians and facilities maintenance personnel are the primary installers.
This panel filter fits standard 25 x 25 x 1 inch filter slots found in rooftop units, air handlers, furnaces, and fan coil systems in commercial, industrial, and residential installations. The progressively dense fiberglass media provides solid dust-holding capacity while the one-piece box frame construction eliminates sharp edges for safer handling. The design provides 10 percent greater open media area compared to traditional metal grill filters, which supports consistent airflow across the filter service life. It is rated for operation up to 180 degrees F, making it suitable for moderate-temperature supply or return air applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install panel filter for standard 25 x 25 x 1 inch filter openings in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC equipment. Listed under applicable standards UL 900, HARDI, and NAFA.
Panel air filters of this type are installed by HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel. Always shut down the air-handling unit and confirm the system is de-energized before replacing the filter. Verify airflow direction markings on the frame align with system airflow before seating the filter. Disposable filters should not be cleaned or re-used; replace when final resistance or scheduled maintenance interval is reached.
