The GLASFLOSS GDS_20X30X1 is a disposable fiberglass panel air filter designed for forced-air HVAC systems in commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Measuring 20 x 30 x 1 inches with 4.17 square feet of media area, it delivers a rated airflow of 300 FPM with an initial resistance of 0.09 inches WC and a final resistance of 0.50 inches WC. The filter uses progressively dense fiberglass media that is thermally bonded for consistent performance across its service life. A heavy-duty one-piece craft-board frame provides structural integrity without sharp metal edges, making handling and disposal safer for service technicians and facility staff.
This filter is suited for a wide range of installations including light commercial rooftop units, air handlers, and residential furnace and central air systems. Its one-piece box frame construction is rated for temperatures up to 180 degrees F, making it appropriate for systems with higher discharge air temperatures. The design delivers 10 percent greater open media area compared to traditional metal grill filters, supporting better dust holding capacity and reduced restriction over the filter life cycle. HVAC technicians and facility maintenance personnel are the primary installers.
Designed for commercial, industrial, and residential forced-air HVAC systems requiring a 20 x 30 x 1 inch disposable panel filter. Meets UL 900, HARDI, and NAFA applicable standards.
Installation is typically performed by HVAC technicians or qualified maintenance personnel. Always power down the air handler or furnace before replacing the filter. Confirm airflow direction markings on the filter frame align with system airflow before seating the filter in the track or housing. Dispose of the used filter in accordance with local waste handling guidelines — the craft-board frame and fiberglass media are not recyclable in most jurisdictions.
