The GLASFLOSS GDS_20X24X1 is a disposable fiberglass panel air filter measuring 20 inches wide by 24 inches tall by 1 inch deep. Designed for forced-air HVAC systems, it uses progressively dense fiberglass media thermally bonded to a heavy-duty one-piece craft-board frame. The double-strut reinforced frame construction provides 10% greater open media area than traditional metal-grill filters, improving airflow while maintaining strong dust-holding capacity. Rated for airflow up to 300 FPM with an initial resistance of 0.09 inches WC and a final resistance of 0.50 inches WC, this filter suits commercial, industrial, and residential air handling applications. It carries a 180 degrees F temperature rating and is Energy Star rated and made in the USA.
This filter is appropriate for commercial rooftop units, industrial air handlers, and residential forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems where a standard 20x24x1 inch panel filter is specified. Its craft-board frame eliminates sharp edges for safer handling during changeout and makes disposal easier than metal-framed alternatives. HVAC technicians and facilities maintenance personnel working in high-throughput filter programs will find the carton weight and disposal characteristics practical for routine PM schedules. Applicable standards include UL 900, HARDI, and NAFA.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement panel filter for commercial, industrial, and residential forced-air HVAC systems requiring a 20x24x1 inch disposable fiberglass panel filter. Meets UL 900, HARDI, and NAFA applicable standards.
Panel air filters of this type are installed and replaced by HVAC technicians or trained facilities maintenance personnel. Always shut down the air handling unit before removing or installing the filter to prevent unfiltered air bypass and media damage. Confirm airflow direction markings on the filter frame align with the system airflow direction before seating the filter. Dispose of used filters in accordance with local waste regulations; the craft-board frame eliminates sharp edges and simplifies safe handling during removal.
