The GLASFLOSS GDS_18X25X1 is a disposable fiberglass panel air filter measuring 18 x 25 x 1 inches, designed for use in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC systems. Built around a heavy-duty one-piece craft-board frame, the filter uses progressively dense fiberglass media thermally bonded for consistent performance. Airflow resistance is rated at 0.09 inches WC initial and 0.5 inches WC final, with a face velocity rating of 300 FPM. The double-strut internal construction delivers 10% greater open media area compared to traditional metal-grill filters, supporting strong dust-holding capacity across the full service life. This filter is rated to 180 degrees F and meets UL 900, HARDI, and NAFA standards.
This panel filter is suited for standard 1-inch filter tracks in residential furnaces and air handlers, as well as commercial and light-industrial makeup air units and rooftop equipment. The craft-board frame eliminates sharp edges, making it safer to handle during changeouts in high-traffic commercial settings. Its construction also reduces disposal weight, a practical benefit for service techs managing high-volume filter replacement schedules. HVAC technicians, building engineers, and facilities maintenance staff are the primary installers of this filter type.
Designed as a drop-in replacement panel filter for 1-inch filter tracks in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC equipment. Fits any standard filter housing or rack sized for an 18 x 25 x 1 inch filter.
Panel air filters of this type are installed by HVAC technicians or facilities maintenance personnel as part of routine preventive maintenance. Always shut down the air-handling unit before removing or inserting the filter to prevent unfiltered air bypass and to avoid drawing loose media into the blower section. Confirm the airflow direction arrow on the frame aligns with the direction of supply airflow in the unit. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulate.
