The GLASFLOSS GDS_18X20X1 is a disposable fiberglass panel air filter measuring 18 x 20 x 1 inches, designed for use in forced-air HVAC systems across commercial, industrial, and residential applications. The filter uses progressively dense fiberglass media thermally bonded to a heavy-duty one-piece craft-board frame, delivering an initial resistance of 0.09 inches WC and a final resistance of 0.5 inches WC at a rated face velocity of 300 FPM. The double-strut frame construction provides 10 percent greater open media area than traditional metal-grill filters, improving dust-holding capacity while allowing for safer, easier disposal without sharp edges. Licensed HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of this product.
This filter is suited for standard 1-inch filter applications in light commercial air handlers, rooftop units, residential furnaces, and split-system air handlers where a cost-effective disposable panel filter is specified. Its heavy-duty craft-board frame holds up in commercial and industrial environments where higher airflow rates and frequent filter changes are common. The design is rated for temperatures up to 180 degrees F, making it appropriate for systems that see elevated operating conditions. It carries UL 900, HARDI, and NAFA certifications and is manufactured in the USA.
Designed as a disposable panel filter replacement for residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems requiring an 18 x 20 x 1 inch filter slot.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified mechanical contractors. Always shut down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect before replacing the filter. Verify airflow direction on the filter frame matches system supply direction before seating the filter. Dispose of used filters per local waste-handling requirements, as fiberglass media should not be re-used or cleaned.
