The GLASFLOSS gds20301 is a fiberglass disposable panel filter built on a reinforced double-strut frame design for use in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC applications. The double-strut construction delivers 10% greater open media area compared to traditional metal grill filters, which improves airflow while maintaining strong dust holding capacity. The filter media uses progressively dense fiberglass layers to capture particulate efficiently across the filter depth. The one-piece craftboard frame is made from 100% recycled materials, with media and strut retainers glued and sealed inside. The frame is clearly marked with size, UL classification, and airflow direction to simplify correct installation.
This filter is sized at 20 inches x 30 inches x 1 inch and fits standard filter tracks and return air grills that accept 1-inch depth panel filters. It is suitable for residential forced-air systems, light commercial air handlers, and industrial ventilation applications where a disposable fiberglass panel filter is specified. The GDS series is designed as a direct drop-in replacement for OEM-supplied filters in standard filter housings. The double-strut design eliminates sharp edges for safer handling during changeouts and makes disposal easier compared to metal grill alternatives.
Designed as a direct OEM-style replacement for standard 1-inch depth disposable panel filters used in residential forced-air systems, commercial air handlers, and industrial ventilation equipment with standard filter tracks and return air grills.
A licensed HVAC technician or qualified service professional should power down the air handling system before replacing the filter. Confirm airflow direction using the arrow marked on the filter frame before seating it in the track. Inspect the filter housing gasket or sealing surface to ensure no bypass occurs around the frame edges. Dispose of the used filter in accordance with local waste handling requirements.
