The GIBRALTAR TSW-2Z-G is a tapped pivotal leveling mount designed for industrial and commercial equipment positioning applications. It features a 1/2-13 threaded stud and supports a static load capacity of 5,000 pounds, making it suitable for heavy-duty machinery, fabricated frames, and structural supports that require precise leveling adjustment. The pivotal pad design allows the base to self-adjust to uneven floor surfaces, maintaining stable contact and reducing stress on the mounting stud. Both the stud and pad are zinc construction. The mount is installed by maintenance technicians, millwrights, and mechanical contractors working with equipment anchoring or vibration isolation setups.
This leveling mount is used in industrial plants, commercial facilities, and fabrication shops where heavy equipment must be leveled on concrete or finished floor surfaces. Typical applications include machine bases, conveyor frames, equipment skids, and support stands. The compact base diameter and standard thread size make it compatible with a wide range of threaded weld nuts, tapped plates, and fabricated mounting assemblies. It is sold individually and is well suited for replacement or new installation work where a reliable, adjustable leveling foot is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation leveling foot for heavy equipment frames, machine bases, and fabricated support structures using 1/2-13 threaded mounting points.
Installation is typically performed by millwrights, maintenance technicians, or mechanical contractors. Thread the stud into a compatible tapped plate or weld nut and adjust height as needed before tightening the hex to lock position. Use a 3/4 inch wrench on the hex for final tightening. Ensure equipment is de-energized and stationary before adjusting or replacing leveling mounts under load-bearing frames.
