The GIBRALTAR PZP13672GB is a fixed lifting eye bolt designed for overhead lifting and rigging applications in industrial, construction, and maintenance environments. Rated at 4,800 pounds lifting capacity, it features a 3/4-10 UNC thread and fully threaded shank measuring 2 inches in length. Manufactured from Grade 1030 steel with a zinc-plated finish, this eye bolt delivers corrosion resistance and structural integrity for demanding load-bearing use. The bolt installs without a shoulder, making it suitable for through-hole fastening where a flush or unshouldered connection is acceptable. Riggers, millwrights, and maintenance mechanics are the typical end users for this hardware.
This eye bolt is suited for use in rigging points on structural steel, machinery, and fabricated assemblies where a straight vertical lift is required. The fixed eye design means the load angle is fixed at the bolt axis, so it is best applied in straight vertical pulling configurations. The zinc-plated finish provides adequate corrosion protection for indoor and light outdoor environments. Sold individually, it is compatible with standard 3/4-10 tapped holes and works with chain, hook, and shackle hardware commonly used in industrial rigging setups.
Designed for use in standard 3/4-10 UNC tapped holes. Compatible with chain hooks, shackles, and rigging hardware accepting a fixed eye bolt with an eye inside diameter of 1-15/32 inches and an eye outside diameter of 2-13/16 inches.
Installation should be performed by a qualified rigger or maintenance mechanic familiar with applicable ASME B30 rigging standards. Thread the bolt fully into a properly sized and tapped anchor point to achieve full thread engagement before applying any load. Never side-load a fixed eye bolt beyond its rated straight-pull capacity, as angular loading significantly reduces safe working load. Inspect threads and the eye for deformation or corrosion before each use and remove from service if damage is found.
