The GIBRALTAR PZP13641GB is a fixed lifting eye bolt rated for 2,100 lb capacity, designed for rigging and overhead lifting applications in industrial, construction, and maintenance environments. It features a 1/2-13 thread size with full threading along the 1.5-inch shank length. Manufactured from Grade 1030 steel with a zinc finish, this eye bolt is built for durability in demanding service conditions. The shoulderless design is suited for straight, in-line vertical loads. Installation is typically performed by rigging professionals, maintenance technicians, or contractors working within applicable load rating and hardware standards.
This eye bolt is used in applications requiring a secure anchor point for vertical lifting with chain, cable, or hook hardware. The fully threaded 1.5-inch shank allows for direct fastening into tapped holes or through bolted assemblies. The zinc coating provides basic corrosion resistance for light outdoor or shop environments. It is sold individually and is well suited for light-duty to medium-duty rigging tasks where a compact, fixed eye configuration is required.
Designed as an OEM-style fixed lifting eye bolt for use in standard 1/2-13 tapped holes in structural steel, machinery frames, and similar load-bearing assemblies requiring a fixed anchor point.
Installation should be performed by a qualified rigger or maintenance technician familiar with applicable load ratings and ASME B30.26 or equivalent rigging hardware standards. Always ensure the receiving threaded hole is clean, properly tapped to 1/2-13, and capable of supporting the rated load before torquing the eye bolt into place. This fixed eye bolt is rated for straight vertical in-line loading only and must not be used for angular or side loads, which significantly reduce safe working load. De-energize and lock out any associated equipment before performing installation or removal.
