The GIBRALTAR PSS14641GB is a fixed lifting eye bolt with shoulder, designed for overhead lifting and rigging applications in industrial and commercial settings. Built from Grade 304 stainless steel, it resists corrosion in wet or chemically exposed environments. The bolt carries a rated lifting capacity of 2,150 pounds and features a fully threaded 1/2-13 shank. The shoulder design provides a load-bearing contact surface against the mounting substrate, which is critical for maintaining proper load angle and preventing eye rotation under tension. This hardware is installed by millwrights, riggers, maintenance mechanics, and ironworkers in manufacturing plants, processing facilities, and structural steel applications.
This eye bolt is suited for vertical and angled lifting rigs where a fixed, non-swivel anchor point is required. The 1/2-13 thread size is a standard unified coarse thread, compatible with common nuts, plates, and tapped holes in that size class. The Grade 304 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for food processing environments, marine adjacent installations, and any application where mild corrosion resistance is a requirement. The shoulder provides bearing surface contact to distribute load properly at the mounting face.
Designed as a fixed shoulder lifting eye bolt for use with standard 1/2-13 threaded holes or matching hardware in industrial rigging, machinery lifting, and structural anchor applications.
Installation is performed by qualified riggers or maintenance personnel familiar with ASME B30.26 rigging hardware standards. The mating surface must be clean and flat to allow full shoulder contact before applying load. Never exceed the rated lifting capacity, and ensure the load is applied in-line with the eye axis — angular loading on a fixed eye bolt significantly reduces safe working load. De-energize and secure any associated equipment before installing or removing the bolt.
