The GIBRALTAR PSS13621GB is a fixed lifting eye bolt designed for vertical and rigging lift applications in industrial, construction, and mechanical service environments. It features a 5/16-18 thread size with fully threaded shank and a shank length of 1.125 inches. The eye bolt is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance in wet, marine, or chemically active environments. This is a shoulderless design, which means it is intended for in-line vertical loads only. Rated at 780 lb lifting capacity, it is installed by millwrights, riggers, maintenance technicians, and mechanical contractors working with overhead lifting points and tie-down anchors.
This eye bolt is suited for light-duty lifting and rigging in both indoor and outdoor environments where corrosion resistance is a priority. Grade 304 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for food processing, marine, and wastewater applications. The fully threaded 1.125-inch shank accommodates secure engagement in standard fastened assemblies. The 7/8-inch inside diameter eye opening accepts hooks, shackles, and wire rope hardware common in rigging setups.
Designed as an OEM-style fixed lifting eye bolt for use in standard 5/16-18 threaded holes in industrial and mechanical rigging assemblies. Verify thread engagement depth meets applicable load rating requirements before use.
Installation is performed by qualified riggers or maintenance technicians following applicable ASME B30.26 and OSHA rigging safety standards. Because this is a shoulderless eye bolt, it must only be loaded in the direct axial (in-line vertical) direction — angular or side loading will significantly reduce safe working load and may cause failure. Ensure the threaded hole provides full thread engagement equal to or greater than the shank length before applying any load. Inspect the eye bolt and mating threads for damage before each use.
