The GIBRALTAR MSW10-5A-PT-G is a metric threaded spring plunger designed for indexing, positioning, and light-duty locking applications in mechanical assemblies. The plunger features an M8 x 1.25 thread with a 0.866-inch thread length and a standard plunger projection of 0.118 inches. The steel body and steel nose deliver durability in industrial environments. An integrated locking element secures the plunger in position after installation, eliminating the need for separate locking hardware. Initial end force is 2.02 pounds and final end force is 7.87 pounds, making this unit suitable for moderate-resistance positioning tasks on production equipment, fixtures, and assemblies.

The locking element should be engaged fully to the specified seating depth to function as designed.
