The GIBRALTAR MEP1110-G is a straight ejector pin designed for use in injection molds and die casting tooling. It functions by pushing finished parts out of the mold cavity at the end of each cycle. The pin features a 14 mm diameter shaft and a 100 mm overall length, with a 22 mm head diameter and 7 mm head height that seat against the ejector plate. A nitride finish improves surface hardness and wear resistance, extending service life under high-cycle conditions. This component is installed and maintained by toolmakers and mold technicians working in plastics processing and metal die casting environments.
This ejector pin is suited for production injection molds and die casting dies in both job shop and high-volume manufacturing settings. It is intended for applications where a straight-profile pin is required and where the 14 mm shaft diameter matches the corresponding guided ejector pin bore in the mold base. The nitride finish makes it appropriate for abrasive or high-temperature mold environments where uncoated pins would wear prematurely.
Designed as a standard straight ejector pin replacement for injection molds and die casting tooling requiring a 14 mm pin diameter and 100 mm overall length.
Installation is performed by qualified toolmakers or mold technicians. The mold must be fully de-energized, cooled, and safely secured in a press or on a work surface before ejector pin replacement. Pins should be checked for proper fit in the ejector pin bore without binding before the mold is returned to service. Follow the mold manufacturer's guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when disassembling ejector plates.
