The GIBRALTAR LP1-B6H-G is a studded pivotal leveling mount designed to support and level industrial equipment, machinery bases, and fabricated frames. It features a steel stud threaded at 1/2-13 and a rubber pad base that provides vibration damping and floor protection. With a rated load capacity of 3,500 pounds and a 2-inch base diameter, this mount is built for demanding shop-floor and facility-maintenance applications. The pivotal design allows the pad to self-adjust to minor floor irregularities, maintaining stable contact across uneven surfaces. Total length is 7-13/16 inches. Machinists, millwrights, and facility maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This leveling mount is suited for stationary equipment installations in manufacturing, mechanical rooms, and industrial settings where precise leveling and load stability are required. It is appropriate for use under machine tool bases, compressor frames, pump skids, and similar equipment that requires vibration isolation and height adjustment. The rubber pad protects finished floors and dampens transmitted vibration. Single-piece construction with a steel stud allows it to be threaded directly into a tapped hole or used with a nut and backing plate on a frame member.
Designed as a direct-thread leveling mount for equipment with 1/2-13 tapped mounting holes or compatible frame assemblies requiring a studded pivotal leveling foot with a 2-inch rubber base pad.
Deenergize and lock out all electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems before repositioning or installing leveling mounts under live equipment. Thread the steel stud into the tapped hole by hand first to confirm thread engagement before applying a wrench to avoid cross-threading. Use a standard open-end or adjustable wrench on the stud flats to set final height, then torque a jam nut against the frame if the application requires vibration resistance. Verify that load distribution across all mount points does not exceed the rated capacity per mount.
