The GIBRALTAR HEP3629-G is a straight ejector pin used in injection mold tooling to push finished parts out of the mold cavity at the end of each cycle. Machined from steel with a nitride finish for surface hardness and wear resistance, this pin measures 9/16 inches in diameter with an overall length of 10 inches and a usable pin length of 9.75 inches. The 13/16-inch head diameter and 1/4-inch head height seat securely in the ejector plate, maintaining consistent positioning under repeated cycling. Mold builders, toolmakers, and die maintenance technicians install this component during mold assembly or repair.
This ejector pin is suited for use in plastic injection molds in both production and repair applications. The straight pin profile fits standard ejector plate retainer bores where a 9/16-inch pin diameter is specified. It is appropriate for residential tooling shops and commercial mold facilities alike. The nitride finish reduces galling and extends service life in high-cycle molds where uncoated pins would wear prematurely.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-build component for plastic injection molds requiring a straight ejector pin with a 9/16 inch diameter and 10 inch overall length.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or mold maintenance technicians during mold build or repair. Ensure the ejector plate and retainer plate bores are clean and free of debris before inserting the pin. Verify pin diameter and length against the mold design print before installation to confirm proper fit and stroke clearance. Follow all lockout/tagout procedures before servicing any mold mounted in a press.
