The GIBRALTAR HEP3573-G is a straight ejector pin designed for use in injection mold tooling and die applications. Machined from steel with a nitride finish, this pin provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for high-cycle mold operation. It measures 3/16 inch in pin diameter with an overall length of 10 inches and a pin length of 9.812 inches. The head diameter is 3/8 inch and the head height is 3/16 inch. Mold makers and toolroom machinists rely on ejector pins like this one to strip finished parts cleanly from mold cavities without damaging the molded surface.
This ejector pin is suited for use in plastic injection molds, die casting tooling, and similar precision mold base applications. It fits standard ejector pin retainer plates designed for 3/16 inch diameter straight ejector pins. The nitride surface treatment improves resistance to galling and extends service life in demanding production environments. Installation requires a properly bored and toleranced ejector pin hole in the mold plate.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit component for injection mold and die tooling applications requiring a straight ejector pin with a 3/16 inch diameter and 10 inch overall length.
Ejector pin installation and replacement is performed by mold makers or toolroom technicians. The mold must be fully de-energized, cooled, and removed from the press before any ejector system service. Pins should be inspected for straightness and fit before installation, and the ejector bore should be cleaned and verified to proper tolerance. Follow the mold manufacturer's specifications for ejector plate assembly and alignment.
