The GIBRALTAR HEP3564-G is a straight ejector pin used in injection mold tooling to push finished parts clear of the mold cavity at the end of each cycle. Machined from steel with a nitride finish for surface hardness and wear resistance, this pin measures 9/64 inches in diameter with an overall length of 10 inches and a usable pin length of 9-7/8 inches. The head diameter is 1/4 inch with a head height of 1/8 inch. Toolmakers, mold technicians, and die shop professionals install these pins during mold builds and maintenance cycles where precise, repeatable ejection is required.
This ejector pin is suited for use in injection molds, compression molds, and similar tooling applications found in plastics processing and metal die casting environments. It fits into standard ejector pin retainer plates and is sized for applications requiring a 9/64-inch pin diameter at a 10-inch overall length. The nitride surface treatment extends service life in high-cycle mold operations where bare steel pins would wear prematurely.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or stock ejector pin for injection mold tooling that requires a straight ejector pin with a 9/64 inch diameter and 10 inch overall length.
Ejector pins are installed by toolmakers or mold technicians with the mold fully de-energized, cooled, and secured in a safe position. Pins should be seated fully in the retainer plate before the ejector assembly is reassembled and torqued. Inspect the pin bore in the mold for wear or damage before installing a replacement pin. Follow your facility safety protocols and applicable tooling standards when working inside a press or mold.
