The GIBRALTAR HEP3530-G is a shoulder ejector pin used in injection molds and die casting tooling to push finished parts free from a mold cavity at the end of each cycle. Machined from steel with a nitride finish for surface hardness and wear resistance, this pin features a 5/64 inch pin diameter, a 1/4 inch head diameter, and a 10 inch overall length. The shoulder design provides a positive seating surface against the ejector plate, keeping the pin precisely aligned during repeated cycling. Toolmakers and mold maintenance technicians are the primary installers and end users of this component.
This shoulder ejector pin is suited for use in plastic injection molds, die cast dies, and similar tooling where controlled ejection stroke and accurate pin location are required. The 8 inch pin length and 1/8 inch shoulder diameter make it appropriate for moderate-depth mold bases. It is sold individually and is intended as a direct replacement or spare component in existing ejector assemblies.
Designed as a standard shoulder ejector pin for use in injection mold and die cast tooling ejector assemblies requiring a 5/64 inch bore diameter and 10 inch overall length.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or mold technicians during mold assembly or maintenance. The mold must be fully de-energized, cooled, and depressurized before any ejector plate disassembly. Pins should be inspected for straightness and surface condition before reinstallation. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and tooling manufacturer guidelines when working inside a mold base.
