The GIBRALTAR HEP3508-G is a shoulder ejector pin designed for use in injection molds and die casting tooling. It features a 3/64-inch pin diameter, a 1/4-inch head diameter, and an overall length of 6 inches with a 4-inch pin length. The pin is machined from steel and finished with a nitride treatment, which improves surface hardness and wear resistance. The shoulder design provides a precise fit in the ejector plate, maintaining alignment during repeated cycling. This pin is installed by toolmakers and mold technicians during mold assembly or repair operations.
This ejector pin is suited for plastic injection mold ejector systems in both prototype and production tooling environments. The 1/8-inch shoulder diameter and 2-inch shoulder length allow it to seat securely in the ejector retainer plate. Do not force-fit pins into undersized bores, as this can cause plate damage or pin failure during cycling.
