The GIBRALTAR GSE100 is a heavy-duty sliding arm bar clamp designed for industrial and trade applications requiring high clamping force. Built on the GSE series rail system, it delivers 2,650 pounds of clamping pressure through an alloy steel spindle and forged steel frame, making it suitable for demanding fabrication, welding, and assembly work. The T-handle design provides controlled torque application without additional tooling. With a 4-3/4 inch throat depth, the GSE100 accommodates workpieces with significant edge-to-clamp-center distance, a critical factor when working on wider stock or framed assemblies. Licensed tradespeople and fabricators in metalworking and construction environments are the primary users of this clamp.
The GSE100 is suited for metal fabrication shops, welding setups, millwright operations, and structural assembly work where consistent, repeatable clamping force is required. The forged steel frame and nickel finish resist corrosion and wear under regular shop conditions. The 30 millimeter by 15 millimeter rail size is standard for the GSE series, allowing compatibility with other GSE-series components and accessories. This clamp is appropriate for both bench-top and in-position clamping tasks on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Part of the GIBRALTAR GSE series. The 30 millimeter by 15 millimeter rail size is consistent across GSE-series bar clamp components.
Install and operate this clamp by hand using the T-handle; no power tools are required or recommended for actuation. Ensure the workpiece is fully seated against the pad before applying full clamping pressure to avoid slippage or workpiece damage. Inspect the spindle threads and rail for debris or damage before use. Follow applicable shop safety protocols when working near welding or cutting operations.
