The GIBRALTAR GPGEB-604 is a guided ejector die mold straight bushing designed for precision fit in injection mold and die mold assemblies. Manufactured from solid bronze, this bushing provides self-lubricating performance without the need for external grease or oil during normal operation. The press-fit attachment method ensures a secure, stable seat in the mold base. With an inside diameter of 1.501 inches and a body diameter of 2.0005 inches, this component is sized for applications requiring tight tolerances and consistent ejector pin guidance. Toolmakers and mold maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this part.
The GPGEB-604 is suited for use in injection molds, compression molds, and progressive die sets where guided ejector components are required. The straight bushing profile allows installation into standard mold base bores. It is applicable in both production tooling and toolroom maintenance scenarios. The self-lubricating bronze construction makes it well-suited for high-cycle environments where regular lubrication access is limited or impractical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement straight bushing for guided ejector applications in die mold and injection mold assemblies requiring a 1.501 inch inside diameter press-fit bushing.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or mold technicians. Before service, ensure the press and mold assembly are fully de-energized and all hydraulic or pneumatic pressure is relieved. Press-fit installation requires an arbor press and proper alignment fixtures to avoid cocking or scoring the bore. Inspect the mating bore for burrs or contamination before seating the bushing.
