The GIBRALTAR GIB53707 is a round U-bolt with a mount plate designed to secure 3-inch pipe to structural supports in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC piping systems. Fabricated from C-1010 steel with a hot galvanized finish, this fastener resists corrosion in exposed or wet environments. The 1/2-13 UNC thread size provides a strong, standardized connection, and the 3-inch thread length gives ample engagement for nuts and lock hardware. Two nuts are included. The mount plate simplifies attachment to flat surfaces such as beam flanges, unistrut, or wall plates. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this type of hardware during rough-in and support framing stages.
