Product Description

The GIBRALTAR GIB53662 is a round U-bolt with a mount plate, designed for securing 1-1/2 inch pipe in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC piping applications. Constructed from C-1010 steel with a hot galvanized finish, it resists corrosion in exposed or outdoor installations. The 5/16-18 UNC threaded legs provide a standard, widely compatible fastening interface, with a 3 inch thread length giving adequate adjustment range for mounting through strut, unistrut channel, or structural members. The U-bolt measures 4-3/4 inches in length and 2 inches in width. Two nuts are included. This hardware is installed by plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors during pipe support and restraint work.
