Built from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire cross-section, this spring delivers a maximum deflection load of 714 pounds and a spring rate of 348 pounds per inch. The blue color coding identifies it as a medium-duty unit per ISO and NAAMS standards. It ships individually and is installed by tool and die makers, press technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals working on metal stamping and forming equipment.
This die spring is suited for applications in stamping dies, injection molds, and precision tooling assemblies where space constraints and load requirements call for a medium-duty coil spring. The 1.5-inch hole diameter accommodates standard guide posts, and the 0.75-inch rod diameter provides positive alignment throughout the compression cycle. With a free length of 5 inches and a maximum deflection of 2.05 inches, it compresses to a solid length of approximately 2.05 inches under full load, making it appropriate for moderately loaded die components in both production and prototype tooling environments.

Die springs should be installed by qualified tool and die technicians or industrial maintenance personnel familiar with press and die assembly procedures.
