The GIBRALTAR DCIL25-32 is a light-duty die spring designed for use in stamping dies, punch presses, and similar tooling applications where consistent return force and reliable compression are required. Built from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire cross-section, this spring delivers a maximum deflection load of 319.00 pounds and a spring rate of 461.00 pounds per inch. The green color coding follows the NAAMS and ISO 10243 standards to indicate light-duty classification, making it easy to identify and replace in multi-spring tooling setups.
This die spring suits light-duty tooling applications in stamping, forming, and injection mold operations. The 1-inch hole diameter and 0.5-inch rod diameter allow straightforward fitment on standard guide rods used in press tooling. With a free length of 1.25 inches and a maximum deflection of 0.69 inches, it is appropriate for compact die sets where travel space is limited. Industrial maintenance technicians, tool and die makers, and machine shop personnel are the typical end users.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement light-duty die spring for standard guide-rod tooling with a 1-inch hole diameter and 0.5-inch rod diameter, conforming to NAAMS and ISO 10243 dimensional standards.
Installation is typically performed by tool and die makers or industrial maintenance technicians during die maintenance or rebuild. Relieve all press pressure and lock out the press ram before removing or installing die springs. Inspect the guide rod for wear or scoring before seating the new spring, as a damaged rod surface can accelerate spring fatigue. Do not exceed the rated maximum deflection of 0.69 inches during operation, as overcompression shortens service life and can lead to premature failure.
