Built from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire cross-section, this spring delivers a maximum deflection load of 413 pounds and a spring rate of 309 pounds per inch. The 5-inch free length compresses to a solid height of 1.34 inches at maximum load, providing 1.34 inches of working travel. Color-coded yellow per industry convention to indicate extra heavy-duty duty rating, it is sized at 3/4-inch hole diameter and 3/8-inch rod diameter. This spring is installed by tool and die technicians, maintenance machinists, and industrial equipment technicians in production tooling environments.
