The GIBRALTAR CP-1065 is a conical pin used in precision workholding, fixture alignment, and locating applications across machining and manufacturing environments. Made from high speed steel with a nitride finish, it provides strong wear resistance and dimensional stability under repeated use. The pin measures 0.092 inches in pin diameter with a head diameter of 0.165 inches, a head height of 0.1155 inches, and an overall length of 2.5 inches. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders install this type of pin to accurately locate and register workpieces or subplates in jigs and fixtures.
This conical pin is suited for use in production machining shops, tool and die operations, and precision assembly fixtures. Its conical head geometry allows it to self-center during insertion, making it practical for applications where repeatable part location is critical. The nitride surface treatment adds hardness and corrosion resistance without significantly altering dimensional tolerances.
