The GIBRALTAR BEB-501 is a guided ejector die mold straight bushing manufactured from solid bronze for use in injection mold and die assemblies. It accepts a press-fit installation method, seating directly into the mold plate without fasteners. The inside diameter measures 0.7505 inches, providing a precision bore for ejector pin or guided component movement. The body diameter is 1.1255 inches. Because this bushing is non-self-lubricating, it requires periodic lubrication to maintain smooth operation and reduce wear. Toolmakers and mold maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this component.
This bushing is suited for use in guided ejector systems within plastic injection molds, stamping dies, and similar tooling assemblies. It is typically installed in mold base plates where ejector guidance and alignment are critical to part quality and consistent stroke cycles. The solid bronze construction provides adequate bearing surface hardness for moderate to heavy production tooling environments. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both new mold builds and replacement applications during scheduled mold maintenance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-build component for guided ejector systems in standard injection mold and die tooling assemblies where a press-fit straight bushing with a 0.7505 inch bore is specified.
Installation is typically performed by toolmakers or mold technicians during mold build or scheduled maintenance. The mold should be fully removed from the press and all hydraulic or pneumatic ejector systems depressurized before bushing replacement. A press or arbor tool should be used to seat the bushing flush and square in the mold plate bore to avoid misalignment. Because the bushing is non-self-lubricating, apply an appropriate mold-compatible grease or oil to the bore surface before returning the mold to service.
