The GIBRALTAR BE-1025 is a die mold ejector blade designed for use in injection mold and die casting tooling applications. Ejector blades push formed parts out of mold cavities after each cycle, and the flat blade profile handles rectangular or slotted part geometries where round ejector pins cannot reach. This blade measures 0.032 inches thick by 0.140 inches wide with a 5.0-inch blade length and 7.5-inch overall length. The headed shank design seats securely in the ejector plate, and the 0.156-inch shank diameter mates with standard ejector retainer plates. Mold makers, toolroom machinists, and die maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this component.
This ejector blade is suited for production injection molds and progressive die tooling in both job-shop and high-volume manufacturing environments. It is a direct replacement blade for worn, bent, or broken ejector blades in existing mold bases where the cavity geometry requires a flat blade profile rather than a round pin. The individual unit packaging makes it practical for toolroom stock and one-for-one replacement during scheduled mold maintenance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement ejector blade for injection mold and die casting tooling that requires a flat blade profile with a headed shank; confirm blade thickness, width, overall length, and shank diameter against the existing mold design before installation.
Ejector blade replacement is performed by qualified mold makers or toolroom machinists with the mold fully de-energized, press locked out, and hydraulic pressure relieved before disassembly. The ejector retainer plate must be separated from the ejector plate to remove the existing blade and seat the replacement. Verify that the blade slides freely in its pocket with no binding before reassembling the ejector assembly. Never force or bend the blade during installation, as blade deflection under cycling load will cause premature failure.
