The GIBRALTAR BE-1020 is a die mold ejector blade designed for use in injection mold and die casting tooling applications. Ejector blades serve as the interface between the ejector system and the molded part, pushing finished parts clear of the mold cavity at the end of each cycle. This blade measures 0.0200 inches in thickness and 0.1000 inches in width, making it suited for narrow-slot ejection applications where standard round ejector pins cannot function. Mold makers, toolroom machinists, and die maintenance technicians are the primary installers. The part ships individually and is sourced as a direct replacement or spare for tooling maintenance programs.
This ejector blade is intended for use in plastic injection molds and die casting tooling where flat, blade-style ejection is required. Narrow blade geometries like this are common in molds producing thin-walled parts, ribs, or features with restricted ejection zones. The BE-1020 is applicable in both production toolroom environments and job-shop mold maintenance settings. It is sold in single-piece quantity, allowing procurement of exact replacement counts without overstocking.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement ejector blade for injection mold and die casting tooling systems requiring flat blade ejection with a 0.0200-inch thickness and 0.1000-inch width profile.
Ejector blade replacement is performed by qualified mold makers or toolroom machinists. Before servicing, the injection molding machine or die casting press must be fully de-energized, hydraulic pressure must be relieved, and all moving platens must be locked out per applicable machine safety procedures and OSHA lockout/tagout requirements. Blades should be fitted and aligned within the ejector plate to manufacturer tolerances before the mold is returned to service. Do not modify blade geometry by grinding unless the application specifically requires it and the resulting dimensions are verified.
