The GIBRALTAR B6-31-G is a revolving handwheel machine handle designed for use on industrial machinery, equipment panels, and mechanical assemblies requiring manual adjustment or positioning. The handle features a bulb-shape grip and a 5/16-18 threaded stem for secure attachment to compatible threaded mounts. The carbon steel stem measures 9/16 inches in length, and the overall assembly length is 3-3/8 inches with a handle length of 2-13/16 inches. A chrome-plated finish provides corrosion resistance and a clean appearance suited to machine shop and production floor environments. Installers in manufacturing, HVAC, and mechanical service trades commonly use this type of handle for valve controls, jig adjustments, and equipment access panels.
This handle is appropriate for light industrial and commercial equipment applications where a hand-operable revolving grip is needed at a threaded mounting point. It is well suited for use on machine tools, fixtures, enclosures, and mechanical positioning devices that require frequent manual operation. The revolving grip style allows the handle to spin freely around the stem axis, reducing hand fatigue during repeated adjustments. It installs directly onto a 5/16-18 threaded post or stud without additional hardware in most standard configurations.
Designed as a standard replacement or retrofit revolving handwheel handle for industrial machinery, mechanical fixtures, and equipment panels using a 5/16-18 threaded stem mount.
Installation is performed by threading the stem directly onto a 5/16-18 compatible stud or threaded shaft. De-energize or lock out any equipment before servicing moving assemblies or replacing handles on active machinery. Use appropriate hand tools to snug the connection without over-tightening the threaded stem. Follow applicable machine safety and lockout/tagout procedures per OSHA and equipment manufacturer guidelines.
