The GIBRALTAR 60507G is an equal double threaded stud designed for fastening applications that require continuous threading at both ends. Machined from alloy steel with a black oxide finish, this stud provides reliable corrosion resistance and mechanical strength in moderate-duty environments. It features an M12 x 1.75 thread size and an overall length of 125 mm. The Material Grade 5 rating and Thread Fit Class 50 designation confirm dimensional precision and load-bearing suitability. This stud is installed by machinists, maintenance technicians, and tradespeople working in HVAC, industrial, and mechanical assembly applications.
Equal double threaded studs are used where a bolt head is not practical or desired. Common applications include equipment mounting, machinery assembly, flange connections, and structural fastening in both residential and light commercial mechanical systems. The equal thread configuration allows the stud to be driven into a tapped hole on one end while accepting a nut on the exposed end, distributing load symmetrically across both thread sections.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or mechanical technicians using appropriate metric taps and wrenches. Torque the nut end to the assembly specification provided by the OEM — do not use impact tools without a torque-limiting socket to avoid thread damage.
