The GIBRALTAR 41456G is a blind tapped quarter turn T-slot nut designed for securing workpieces and fixtures to T-slot tables and extrusions. Machined from C-1018 steel with a black oxide finish, this nut accepts a 1/2-13 right-hand thread and installs with a simple quarter turn to lock into place inside the slot. The blind tap design keeps the threaded bore closed at one end, protecting the thread from chips and debris. Licensed machinists, toolmakers, and machine operators use this hardware in workholding setups on milling machines, fixture plates, and modular aluminum extrusion systems.
The 41456G fits T-slots with an 18.00 mm slot width and is rated for the inch measurement system. The base measures 11/16 inches wide by 0.427 inches tall, and the overall length is 1.375 inches with an overall height of 3/4 inches. This nut is suited to production and job-shop environments where repeatable, tool-assisted clamping of jigs, vises, clamps, and fixtures to machine tables is required on a daily basis.
Designed for use in T-slot tables and modular fixture systems with an 18.00 mm slot width. Intended for inch-system applications requiring a 1/2-13 blind tapped fastener.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom personnel familiar with T-slot workholding hardware. Insert the nut into the T-slot channel, rotate a quarter turn to engage the slot walls, then thread the mating bolt or stud to the desired clamping load using appropriate hand tools. Power down and de-energize any associated machine before adjusting workholding components on a machine table.
