The GIBRALTAR 41430G is a blind tapped T-slot nut designed for securing workpieces and fixtures to T-slot tables and machine bases. Threaded 1-8 (1-inch diameter, 8 threads per inch) with a right-hand thread direction, this nut slides into a T-slot track and accepts a standard bolt or stud from above without requiring access to the back side of the slot. It is machined from 1018 steel and finished with black oxide for corrosion resistance. The base measures 2 inches wide by 0.9375 inches tall, and the overall length is 2 inches with an overall height of 1.25 inches. Machinists, millwrights, and fixture builders are the primary installers.
