The GIBRALTAR 41005G is an equal double threaded stud with a 7/8-9 thread size and an overall length of 5 inches. This stud is machined from alloy steel with a black oxide finish and carries a Grade 5 material rating and a Thread Fit Class 50 designation. Double threaded studs provide threaded engagement on both ends with no head, making them the standard fastener when two components need to be clamped together or when a part must be secured to a tapped hole. The black oxide finish provides mild corrosion resistance and reduces surface glare.
