The GIBRALTAR 30510G is a steel clamp strap designed for workholding applications in machining, milling, and fixturing setups. It features a tapered nose profile and a serrated heel that grips the work surface to resist slipping under load. The strap measures 4 inches overall length, 1-1/2 inches wide, and 3/4 inches high, with a 1-1/16 inch travel slot that allows for flexible stud positioning. Material grade is 1018 steel with a black finish. This part is installed by machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians working with manual or CNC machine tool setups.
The 30510G fits standard 3/4 inch stud clamping systems commonly found on milling machine tables, surface plates, and modular fixturing plates. The 1-1/16 inch slot length and 1-11/32 inch centerline-of-slot-to-nose dimension make it suitable for clamping workpieces of varying thickness when paired with appropriate step blocks, studs, and nuts. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both production floor use and toolroom applications.
Designed for use with standard 3/4 inch clamping studs in T-slot workholding systems on milling machines, surface plates, and modular fixturing setups. No specific model compatibility was stated in the product data.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians using standard hand tools. Ensure the machine is powered down and the spindle is at rest before adjusting any fixturing components. Position the clamp strap with the serrated heel resting on a step block or similar support to maintain a level clamping angle. Do not exceed the rated load for the stud and nut combination in use.
