The GIBRALTAR 11777 7 is a fixed lifting eye bolt rated for 7,000 lb capacity, designed for straight-line vertical lifting applications in industrial, construction, and rigging environments. Manufactured from C-1035 grade forged steel, this eye bolt delivers the structural integrity required for demanding load-bearing tasks. It features a 7/8-9 thread size with full threading along the entire 4.5-inch shank, providing maximum thread engagement across a range of material thicknesses. The absence of a shoulder means this bolt is intended for axial loads only. Riggers, millwrights, and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this hardware.
This eye bolt is suited for use in manufacturing facilities, steel erection, equipment lifting, and similar heavy industrial applications where a reliable, rated anchor point is required. It is appropriate for use with hoists, chain blocks, wire rope, and other vertical rigging assemblies. The fully threaded shank allows the bolt to be secured through material of varying thickness up to 4.5 inches. Because this is a fixed-type eye bolt without a shoulder, it must be loaded along the axis of the shank only — angular or side loading is not an appropriate use for this configuration.
Designed as a standard fixed lifting eye bolt for use in industrial rigging assemblies requiring a 7/8-9 threaded anchor point with a 7,000 lb load rating.
Installation should be performed by a qualified rigger or maintenance technician familiar with applicable ASME B30 rigging standards. The mating surface must be flat and the nut fully torqued against the mounting surface before any load is applied. Because this eye bolt has no shoulder, it must be loaded in the axial direction only — lateral or angled loading can cause failure. Always inspect the eye bolt and associated rigging hardware for deformation, wear, or corrosion before each lift.
