The GERBER PLUMBING gtb30528 is a complete toilet-in-a-box kit built around the Viper two-piece toilet platform. It flushes at 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF), meeting WaterSense efficiency standards for residential and light commercial installations. The elongated bowl sits at ADA-compliant comfort height, making it suitable for accessible bathroom applications. This kit ships as a single package containing every component needed for a full installation, reducing the number of separate line items a plumber needs to source. It is designed for a standard 12-inch rough-in and finishes in white.
This toilet is suited for residential new construction, remodels, and replacement installs where ADA-height fixtures are specified. The 12-inch rough-in dimension fits the most common floor drain placement in North American residential construction. The elongated bowl profile is appropriate for full-size bathroom applications. Licensed plumbers and skilled trade professionals handle installation, and the all-inclusive kit format makes it a practical choice for single-unit jobs or small multi-unit projects where minimizing truck stock is a priority.
The gtb30528 kit includes Gerber bowl GVP31528 and tank GWS38590. It is designed for installations with a 12-inch floor rough-in and is compatible with standard residential 3-inch or 4-inch drain lines using the included wax ring.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and flush the existing toilet to drain the tank and bowl before removing any existing fixture. Set the bowl onto the wax ring first, secure with the included floor bolts, then mount the tank to the bowl before connecting the supply line. Do not overtighten tank-to-bowl hardware or closet bolts, as porcelain can crack under excess force.
