The GERBER g00gs527 is a Treysta pressure balance tub and shower valve configured with vertical inputs and cold expansion PEX connections, sold without integral stops. The forged valve body houses a pressure balance ceramic disc cartridge that maintains consistent water temperature during pressure fluctuations elsewhere in the system. Designed for rough-in installation by licensed plumbers, the valve includes a plaster guard and pressure-test cap, allowing the rough-in stage to be fully pressure-tested before trim is applied. The vertical input orientation accommodates standard back-to-back and thin wall installation scenarios.

This valve is suited for residential tub and shower applications where a pressure balance single-handle rough-in valve is required. The cold expansion PEX connection type is compatible with PEX-a tubing systems using expansion fittings. The diverter function is located on the valve body itself. For installations where a separate tub spout diverter is preferred, this valve works with all TC series tub and shower trim kits without a diverter on the valve. It is also fully compatible with Danze by Gerber shower trim kits.
