The GEOVISION 530-SSUHKTG-014 is a UHF RFID tag designed for use with compatible GeoVision access control readers, sold as a single unit. UHF (ultra-high frequency) RFID tags operate at longer read ranges than standard proximity or HF cards, making them well suited for vehicle access lanes, loading dock entrances, and high-throughput entry points. Security integrators and access control technicians install these tags as credential tokens assigned to individual users or assets within a GeoVision reader-based system.
This tag is intended for deployment in commercial and light-industrial access control installations where UHF reader infrastructure is already in place. It functions as a passive credential that is enrolled into the access control system and assigned to an authorized user or vehicle. Typical applications include employee access, fleet management entry points, and secured facility perimeter control where hands-free or long-range credential reads are required.
Designed as a credential token for use with GeoVision UHF RFID access control readers. Confirm reader compatibility with the GV-RU9003 reader platform before deployment.
UHF RFID tags are enrolled by a security integrator or access control technician through the access control management software. No tools are required for the tag itself, but the reader and controller must be powered and configured prior to credential enrollment. Disable or lock out the user credential in the management software before removing or reassigning a tag. Follow all applicable access control system installation guidelines and site security policies during deployment.
