The GEORG FISCHER 9801-010 is a Schedule 80 CPVC tee fitting designed for use in pressurized piping systems that handle corrosive fluids, hot water, and chemical process lines. Rated to 63 psi and a maximum temperature of 200 degrees F, this 1-inch nominal slip tee handles demanding service conditions where standard PVC falls short. The fitting measures 3-3/4 inches in length and seals with an FKM O-ring for reliable, leak-resistant joints. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting during new construction and retrofit projects where CPVC Schedule 80 systems are specified.
This tee fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, chemical distribution, and industrial process piping that requires Schedule 80 pressure ratings. The slip-style socket ends accept CPVC pipe and solvent-cement bonding per standard CPVC joining procedures. It carries a gray color finish consistent with Schedule 80 CPVC product lines and is manufactured domestically.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 1-inch nominal Schedule 80 CPVC piping systems using slip-style solvent-cement connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off system pressure and drain the line completely before cutting into an existing CPVC system. Use only CPVC-rated solvent cement and primer rated for Schedule 80 applications; standard PVC cement is not suitable for CPVC fittings. Allow full cure time per the cement manufacturer instructions before restoring system pressure.
