Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC or locally adopted equivalents. Depressurize and drain the system completely before cutting into any existing line. Use a PVC-compatible primer and solvent cement rated for Schedule 80 fittings, and allow full cure time before returning the system to service. Do not apply heat or mechanical force to seat socket connections.
