Genuine Joe GJO00245CT Cotton Dust Mop Refill 24x5 in CT12

Product Description

The GENUINE JOE GJO00245CT is a disposable cotton dust mop refill designed for routine floor dusting in commercial and institutional settings. The mop head measures 24 inches by 5 inches and is constructed with four-ply cotton yarn that delivers strong absorbency while remaining soft enough to protect finished floor surfaces. A quick-drying slot-pocket synthetic backing secures the yarn to the frame and helps the head dry faster between uses, reducing mildew risk during storage. Each carton contains 12 refill heads. This part is installed by janitorial staff and facility maintenance personnel as a straightforward consumable replacement.

This mop refill is suited for everyday dry and light damp dusting on hard floors including tile, hardwood, vinyl composition tile, and sealed concrete. It fits standard residential and light commercial mop frames. The slot-pocket backing design makes swapping heads fast during a shift. Handle and frame are sold separately. This refill is the natural-color version and does not require pre-treating before initial use, though lightly dampening the head can improve dust pickup on heavily soiled floors.

Installation Notes

Installation requires a compatible mop frame sold separately. Slide the slot-pocket backing over the frame wire ends until the head seats flat and even across the full frame width. No tools are required for routine head changes. Dispose of used heads according to local solid-waste guidelines; do not launder disposable heads as repeated washing degrades the yarn structure and backing integrity.
