The GENTENT GTOPFDCE is a direct-connect running cover designed to let open-frame portable generators operate safely outdoors in rain, snow, and severe weather. The canopy attaches directly to the generator's vertical frame posts without tools, providing enclosed side access to electrical panels and the fuel fill point. Constructed from NFPA 701 flame-retardant, waterproof dual-coated rip-stop vinyl-coated polyester with welded seams, this Extreme Edition is UV-treated and rated for temperatures from -45 degrees F to 167 degrees F. It is independently lab tested for winds up to 70 MPH, hurricane-force precipitation at 12 inches per hour, and snow loads up to 18 inches (55 pounds). Installation is performed by qualified trades or knowledgeable operators without hand tools.
The GTOPFDCE fits open-frame portable generators ranging from 3,000 watts to 13,000 watts with a frame perimeter of approximately 40 inches to 104 inches. It is suited for residential and light-commercial standby and job-site generator use wherever weather protection is required during operation. The Extreme Edition is made in the USA and is available in Tan with Black Trim (GTOPFDCETN) or Grey with Black Trim (GTOPFDCEGR). All required mounting hardware is included.
Designed for open-frame portable generators with a frame perimeter of approximately 40 inches to 104 inches and a power output of 3,000 watts to 13,000 watts that have accessible vertical frame posts for direct-connect attachment.
This cover is intended for outdoor use only and must never be used to allow generator operation indoors, in a garage, or in any enclosed space regardless of weather conditions — carbon monoxide hazard applies. Attach the canopy to the generator's vertical frame posts per the included instructions; no tools are required. Ensure all elastic straps and hook-and-loop closures are fully secured before operating the generator in adverse weather. Inspect seams, straps, and hardware periodically for wear and replace damaged components before continued use.
