The General Tools VR40 is a pocket-sized handheld tool that combines a 4:1 infrared thermometer, an adjustable non-contact voltage detector (NCV), and an integrated LED flashlight. The infrared thermometer measures surface temperatures from -4 F to 626 F (-20 C to 330 C) with fixed emissivity and displays readings on a four-digit LCD with a 15-second auto hold. The NCV detects AC voltage across four sensitivity ranges and provides audible and visual alerts.
