The GENERAL FILTERS 4200A is a bypass evaporative humidifier designed for homes up to 4,200 square feet. It delivers 17 gallons of moisture per day, based on a 120°F plenum temperature, by sending warm air through a water-soaked Vapor Pad®. This process humidifies the air, which is then distributed throughout the home's duct system. It operates on 24 volts and includes a GFX4 digital automatic-control humidistat to manage the furnace blower motor for optimal humidity.
